Far Cry 5 – Trailer Confirms a Western Setting

A recent article discussing the filming of a live action trailer was widely mistaken for Red Dead Redemption 2. It looks like it will be another video game releasing in September in the Far Cry series.

Here’s everything we know:

  1. There was a live action trailer being filmed in Montana by the same director that made the Far Cry Primal Live Action Trailer
  2. They said it’s an established franchise releasing this September (Rockstar don’t do live action trailers)
  3. In 2015 Ubisoft interviewed Montana residents for an upcoming Ubisoft video game
  4. In 2015 Ubisoft ran a survey with a Western Theme being an option
  5. Ubisoft have used surveys in the past with Assassin’s Creed settings, which later came true e.g. American Revolution in Unity

Special thanks to ValiantDefiance and Joon Marstoon for the evidence. It’s likely we’ll be seeing this trailer at E3 2017.

Here is a video I put together going over all the evidence:

Fallout 4 Tips and Tricks

10 Tips and Tricks for Fallout 4

Fallout 4 is here and it’s awesome! Whether you’re just getting started, or not picked up the game yet, here’s 10 Tips and Tricks to help your way in Fallout 4.

  • Every location you discover on fallout – you can fast travel to it. So make sure to explore as much as you can, you get XP for discovering new locations, but it just means you can travel around the map much more efficiently when doing missions and quests
  • Saving is essential. I quicksave all the time when I’m playing. I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve been blown up by a landmine and had to retrace loads of progress. It also helps a lot to Save BEFORE big bosses – so if you mess up you don’t have to do the whole mission again you can get straight to the boss fight for another attempt
  • Look out for collectables. Bobble heads will give you an increase a SPECIAL stat or upgrade a perk. And magazines will unlock and upgrade unique perks
  • When you’re looting from dead bodies look out for the + smbol next to the names of items. This means the item is better in some way from your current ones
  • Level up before hard enemies. Stay on the missions at the start to get good weapons and armour. I came across some super hard enemies but once I’d levelled up a bit they were a piece of cake!
  • Sleeping in beds regenerates your health. Sleeping in nice beds gives you the Well Rested perk for a limited time, which increases your XP gain by 10%.
  • At your crafting bench, you can add a search option to crafting materials you’re missing. This will mean when you’re looting around the world – you will actually see a symbol next to the item letting you know that that item contains a component that you require
  • When you’re exploring – I’d totally recommend picking up all types of adhesive and also plates for ceramic – you’ll be using these materials ALOT
  • If your inventory is full of junk – remember you can go to any workshop bench, hit the transfer button and you can hit one button to store all of your junk. Saves you carrying it all around.
  • Don’t throw away your hazmat suit. It has no damage resistance, BUT it has excellent radiation If you ever get stuck in a radiation cloud just switch into this

Black Ops 3 Rainbow Camo

How to make a Custom Skin in Black Ops 3!

Black Ops 3 has a whole Paintshop allowing you to customise your weapons. The system is really similar to the emblem creator in previous Black Ops games.

Thinking back to Black Ops 1, my custom emblem was Mr Hanky from South Park, I decided to go with something a little more appropriate for the side of my M8A7!

Here’s how to customize your weapons in Call of Duty Black Ops 3:
