The Division Game - PvP

PvP Dark Zones in The Division

I’ve been looking forward to Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s: The Division ever since it was revealed at E3 2013.

One aspect I’m particularly looking forward to is the PvP (Player vs Player) Multiplayer. This can only be done in allocated areas of the map known as ‘Dark Zones’. If you dare step foot into these highly dangerous areas you’ll be confronted with aggressive NPCs as well as other players or squads that you must take down in order to Evacuate yourself some epic loots.

For more information about what we know so far on Dark Zones, here’s the video:

RuneScape PvP World Changes Review

I have spent the last 3 days planning and making a PvP World Changes Review.

I wanted to also test if Jagex has properly fixed the 26K Trick, Hope you enjoy:

As you can see from the video,  I don’t think Jagex has been successful in stopping players abusing the Potential System. Using EP (Earn Potential) will still bring you alot more than the 76K coins which your partner dies with.

I think a permanent solution to stop the 76K Trick would be to stop players entering over the Wilderness Ditch with any Combat Unrelated Items such as coins etc

Reached 16M Runecrafting Experience and achieved level 62 Slayer (Total Level now 2157)

95 Strength

Today i achieved level 95 Strength and i am faced with a hard choice.

Should i stay level 105 Combat with 95 Strength, and go straight to Bounty Hunter to Pk?
Or should i first max out with 99 Strength and be combat level 107?

It would be amazing to have 99 Strength and another 99 skill, however i don’t know it i have the time or patience to get that high.

Back To Square One

Since Pking seems to be ruined for me, i went back to Runecrafting.

I am considering using an Armadyl godsword to Ko while ranging.

However it is currently 68M, so i have quite a bit of money making to do.

Bounty Hunter, Here i come

Today i finally achieved my goal of 80 Strength! (Total 2121)

It is now the time to try out my new Hybrid Pking methods using Range and Melee for special attacks.

Sold my Saradomin Sword : 6,252,000 GP

I logged into a Bounty Hunter World and equipped my usual Range Tanking Gear. (without the Torag Helm since i will be protecting my Dragon Claws)

I was VERY disappointed when i saw that Jagex has nerfed Dragon Claws making them hit much less.

I killed only 1 person, then after dying twice i gave up with Bounty Hunter.

I think i have ruined Icey Dan1 now. Since my strength is higher, my combat is too high for range tanking. The majority of range tanks are level 60-90.

I’m really not sure at all what to do. Pking with Dharoks or rune armour looks too hard and relying on Dragon Dagger specials seems pointless too.

Under 100

I did another combat level check which showed i could achieve level 80 Strength and still be under 100 Combat for PvPing.

I will try pking with Dragon Claws, Dragon Dagger and possibly the AGS at level 99. Hopefully i can get some nice kos 🙂

If it doesn’t work out, i can eaily train strength higher at Armour Zombies.

The Charm rate is pretty good too, i would love to get level 80 summoning.

Levels Achieved Today:

77 Strength (Total level 2118) (Combat level 108)

78 Strength (Total level 2119) (Combat level 108)

More Bounty Worlds

I changed back to Lunar spells. I want to take advantage of the new update while i can. lots of new players will be trying to pk, meaning some easy kills.

I also have a feeling jagex will update it soon meaning bad loots.

So i want to make the most of it.

Randomly had the Grave digger random even. I decided to choose the zombie walk emote as a reward.

Mmmm PvP

There seems to be a bit of an uproar about glitch potential building in PvP which has resulted in several players being permanently banned.

I’m not really sure what to think about this one. Since Jagex only have themselves to blame for the glitch in the first place, it is quite unfair they are punishing other players. However it is stated very clearly that any sort of glitching or bug abuse is against the rules.

I think Jagex should ONLY ban people who extensively abused the glitch

I owned around 6 people in PVP today. I died twice, but at least i didn’t lose my Torag Helm this time 😀
Uploaded a random short video. Not very funny, but i wanted to make something for Easter.

Not The Only One

ANOTHER System Update today… But still not Bounty Hunter.

I checked the Recent Updates section on the Official Runescape Forums. There is a pinned thread titled: Temporary removal of Bounty H.

We have temporarily closed the entrances to the Bounty Hunter craters while we fix a few problems with it. Broadly speaking, we are looking to fix the following issues:

* The level-matching system wasn’t working at all well, with players often ending up in unfair battles they were unlikely to win.
* With the launch of PvP worlds, Bounty Hunter suddenly became less populated, which meant the bounty mechanic stopped working properly. We still love the idea of a bounty mechanic with players being given targets, but we think it can be done so much better, especially given what we have now learnt from PvP worlds.
* Real-world trading was occurring at quieter times of the day.

Don’t worry, Bounty Hunter isn’t disappearing forever – we’re just disabling it while we fix the problems. Bounty Hunter will be back. :)

We do not intend to reset the hiscores tables associated with the minigame, and will make sure that everyone’s hard work on those hiscores is not lost.

You will still be able to use the Bounty Hunter bank and the games necklace teleport to the area.

There are nearly two thousand replies to this thread. I read a few pages, and was qutie annoyed to see a few people thanking Jagex for this update…

There was alot of people complaining it’s taking too long, iim glad to see i’m not the only one.
